Pulses are pounded and hearts are racing as your dealership's customers eagerly await the arrival of the breathtaking new 2008 Audi S5 Coupe in your showroom. The vehicle delivers "Pure Emotion" that can't be mistaken, and that same enthusiasm can be felt in Audi service departments. And this is where the customer's love affair with their new ride can flourish, through a "fixed right the first time" Audi experience.
» Delivering on that promise involves rigorous training - made possible through the Audi A5/S5 Launch Technical and After Sales Training Program. That training is getting under way.
The initail wave of A5/S5 after sales training is being conducted in Septemper and October 2007 at select Audi Learning Centers. Registeration for one (1) A5/S5 technician and one (1) service consultant for the instructor-led
training began Aug. 30. The two-day techician course (#997702) and the one-day after sales (#998702) course will be available at the following Leaning Centers: Ontario, Calif. (Los Angeles); Buffalo Grove, Ill. (Chicago); Cranbury, N.J; and Ajax, Ontario (Canada).
The A5/S5 after sales training for additional technicians and consultants will be offered in the first quarter of 2008 at all Audi Leaning Centers. For this reason, dealers should send only one technician and service consultant to the initial A5/S5 launch training. A registration link for these two courses will be available in the Leaning Management Center (LMC). Note: as a prerequisite to the A5/S5 Instructor Led Training (ILT), technicians must complete the following A5/S5 Self Study
Programs (SSPs) and online assessments:
• 997703 - 2008 Audi A5/S5 Introduction
• 998703 - 2008 Audi A5/S5 Convenience Electronics
• 999703 - 2008 Audi A5/S5 Running Gear
• 99A703 - 2008 Audi A5/S5 Networking
These SSPs will be available electronically on the AccessAudi.com>Academy site prior to the instructor-led traing.
"Success in the service and after sales depertments in your Audi dealership begins with training." said Matthew Shepanek, after sales training manager, Audi Academy. "Staying on top of the latest advances in technology is a never-ending process, and our goal is to provide the assets your team members need most."
